The Alphonso doesn't taste like a mango — it tastes like the idea of one. Fibreless, creamy, sun-drenched. The kind of fruit that fills the room before you've even opened the box.
Also called Hapus. Also called Ratnagiri. Also called the best thing you'll eat this summer.
Grown on the Konkan coast of western India — Maharashtra, Goa — the same fertile strip that's been perfecting this fruit for generations. Rich soil, tropical humidity, and four thousand years of craft. The conditions that make an Alphonso an Alphonso, and not a supermarket facsimile of one.
Each box contains 12 mangoes, individually inspected, arriving just before peak ripeness. Keep them in a cool spot at around 21–24°C and let them find their moment. When the skin turns sunshine yellow and yields gently under your thumb — that's it.
A note on natural fruit. These are real mangoes, not supermarket clones. Small blemishes and light wrinkling are part of it. If there's visible damage on arrival, send us a photo and we'll take care of you.
